Aftercare Instructions:
Proper aftercare is crucial to ensure your brows heal well, retain their color, and last longer. Follow these instructions closely:
DAY 1 :
Let your brows completely dry out.
Do not touch, pick, or tweeze brows..
NEXT 5 DAYS:
Keep brows dry (no water or sweat).
Apply the provided ointment 3–4 times a day.
Do not apply makeup or sunscreen.
Avoid prolonged sun exposure (no long outdoor events).
NEXT 2 WEEKS:
Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and saunas.
AFTER 2 WEEKS:
Always wear sunscreen to protect your brows and maintain longevity.
Important Cautions::
Failure to follow aftercare can lead to infections, pigment loss, or discoloration.
If you experience a heat rash or pimples, this is usually a reaction to the numbing solution and should subside in a couple of weeks. Contact us if you're concerned.
No Retin-A, AHA, or Glycolic acids in the brow area during healing.
Pigment may rub off in the first 10 days—avoid using good linens or towels.
The Healing Process:
Mild swelling, itching, scabbing, bruising, and tightness are common during the healing process.
Use soft gel ice packs for swelling and bruising.
Aftercare ointment helps with scabbing and tightness.
Brows may appear about 30% larger due to swelling in the first few days.
Darkness and slight unevenness:
Brows may appear too dark or uneven initially.
The color will fade and swelling will subside in 2–7 days, evening out the appearance.
If it’s still too dark or uneven after 4 weeks, we can adjust during your touch-up.
Color change or fading:
The color may lighten or fade during healing, which is normal.
Any fading will be addressed during your touch-up.
Full healing takes about 4 weeks, so we’ll wait until then to make adjustments.
Touch-ups:
Microblading requires touch-ups to maintain its appearance, depending on skin type, medications, and sun exposure.
The first touch-up is recommended 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure.
Annual touch-ups are recommended to keep your brows looking fresh.
If most of the hair strokes have faded, the entire procedure may need to be redone.
If you're unsure whether you need a touch-up or a full redo, an email photo consultation may be necessary.
